Uhm, Your Bone Claw Is Showing...

Yeah I watched it. Whatever, I'm a fan, I couldn't help it. No I did not spoil it for myself. Yes I will still see it in theatres. And no what I'm about to write isn't going to spoil anything in the movie...

Basically, the 'unfinished-CGI' screener of X-Men Origins: Wolverine leaked; it was pretty hilarious though. It didn't really take away from the content or impact of the movie, but it took away the 'awe-affect' of the movie. Without special effects, some scenes were kinda empty...

For example, Agent Zero's guns are CGI so all you see is him holding metal handles with raw CGI gun
-shapes hanging off, lol. Also whenever they jump you can see the wires that hold them up, lol. Also, one scene, Wolverine gets thrown during a fight and for 5 seconds he is a raw 3D figure [below] LOL...

Just some thoughts on the movie...

The intro clips were Wolverine army scenes, which were ill because he just ran through Germany and Russia and all those powerhouse armies like they were weeds. Wolverine basically doesn't age because of healing factor and he fought in World War II with like Captain America, but unfortunately there was no cameo-age...

Raw CGI everywhere! But I continued to watch nonetheless. One of my favorite scenes is the adamantium scene, the set up is intense. It's like comicbook to life kinda thing. The way they stress 'it's going to be the worst pain any man has to endure' was intense.
In the animated series you don't get that vibe...

And yeah, my knowledge of
X-Men comes from the TV series in the 90's--so that show is my reference of accuracy. Before this scene, I perceived the adamantium scene to be just some chillin scientific procedure. Also the unit in which Wolerine is placed in I pictured to be a vertical glass tube that he is floating in--and when he wakes up he break out of it, which I guess would be hard to pull off. They depicted a more bathtub-ish unit, which was less dramatic, but all good...

My favourite X-Men character of all time is Gambit and he FINALLY shows face!!! That's all I will say. Oh and, he's the man. But he doesn't have that frenchman swag. They chose to make his French roots nonobvious and nixed the accent; as well as, any reference to being from France. That dude from Friday Night Lights plays Gambit, and I guess he can't really pull off the French accent or something. He's my fave but every adaptation of X-Men post 90's series portrays him as a rebel/renegade/ex-thief who is too independent to be a consistent X-Man, I guess that's how it is...

Canadian poker star Daniel Negraneu makes a cameo at Gambit's table, which was pretty out of the blue. Overall I like the film, only thing I dislike is what they did with the Deadpool character and how they depicted him--kinda whack. It made me google Deadpool's bio and abilities, meh...

Oh and scratch the whole 'raw-CGI-doesn't-affect-the-movie', because the final epic fight scene is NOT epic in this unfinished screener. It takes away A LOT from the scene, so yeah... anywaysss

I'm out like Logan's bones...
