Here I am again, nothing new with that--I think I blog too much. Anyways, a big whatever to life. Life's weird, whatever. I know I let people down whatever I don't mean to. I can't help but feel bad and responsible, whatever. I know things are uncontrollable, whatever. I know I'm boring and a waste of time sometimes? whatever...
Today I basically worked on my portfolio. Wasn't too productive, meh. My mom saw my lack of productivity and swampped-ness, so she said I can go late to church. It was the Easter Vigil tonight. Wowsers, it was a 3-and-a-half hour mass...
But anyways, this is my turning point, I feel it. I feel this drive and I wanna ride on it as long as I can. Things are different from now on. I say this a million times. I make a million promises to myself. But this time I feel a tad more driven. No more bullsh!t and lagging. I'm gonna do things with a purpose...
Maybe it was the homily that hit me. It basically said, if you wanna get something done, it won't get done unless you move. Just do it! Just get up, go forward and do it. And I thought to myself, it makes sense, there's seriously no other way. Simple. The only way I do get things done is when I force myself to just do it when I'm backed into a corner...
I have to teach myself to just do it up without stakes. Just because I don't feel pressure or urgency doesn't mean I can't be motivated. I just have to find a way to just get up and go. I just have to push myself. Challenge myself. That's what I lack lately in life. I'm frggn slack at EVERYTHING. I let it all come to me and I don't lift a finger, kinda thing. I have to be more active--I have to move...
I don't wanna be stagnant. I WANNA BE DRIVEN. I wanna feel like I'm always doing things for a purpose--I used to be like that. I never used to be this 'go-with-the-flow'. I always had a decent head and a solid drive. Ever since this university thing, it's thrown my game off a bit =s...
Bottom line, I'm gonna go get it.

'It All Starts In The Eyes..20% Angel, 80% Devil'...
Right now I just got home from a long day. Did some of my portfolio // then went to Good Friday mass // then ate dinner at Pizza Hut with the fams // then finally used my AMC vouchers to catch Fast & Furious with the girlfriend =) // then came home for a bit to meet my cousins that just came from the Phils // then dropped Nadine off and tried to install Microsoft Office on her computer. Wowsers long day like snarp (c)cappa...
So yeah I finally saw Fast & Furious, I enjoyed it. There was a good plot and it was sick seeing '5 years after' The Fast and The Furious, which ends with Brian (Paul Walker) letting the heavily wanted Dominic (Vin Diesil) free to go.
A lot of plot twists kept me into it. But the acting was still bad, real bad, Michael Jackson (c)kanye, lol. I liked it though--easily my fave of it's 3 predecessors...
TF&TF was alriight, had a decent storyline for the most part, decent movie from what I remember. 2F2F was alriight, didn't enjoy it too much. And Tokyo Drift..had a dope soundtrack? lol.
And damn, I just saw 'Game-In-An-Hour' and Caron Butler just gave it to Shawn Marion and the Raptors at the buzzer!? Wow.
So yeah, I realized I don't have any Lupe on this blog? So here's some Wasulu...
Lupe Fiasco - "Superstar" [Acoustic] [Feat. Matthew Santos]
This is my fave vid of Lupe. It's an acoustic recording of Superstar which is off The Cool. He's on-point with the arrangement and the suUUuuu, lol.
I'm out like nos when the valve is turned...

FAIL Blog Faves...
I check FAIL Blog once and a while. I don't check often, so when I do check, there's a bunch of them I never seen yet.
Here are some to the point where I last checked that actually made me laugh out loud. If the picture doesn't get me, the title usually does...
school sign fail

door fail

investigation fail

sink design fail

lion fail

spider-man comic fail

obvious sign fail

cleaning fail

door fail

book title fail

(didn't realize I drafted it instead of posting it before? so I actually posted it on April 11 2009 and just added a couple fails from April 11.. publishing fail? lol)
I'm out like success frrom the above...

12% Presentation > 60% Exams...
12% group presentation on May 4th is up there on the priority list. It's not because I'm doing bad in the class. It's not because it's a hard presentation that I need to focus on. It's because I have to clear up that weekend...
Here's the rundown; my group and I have basically one weekend to complete the presentation collectively because of late exams. My teams' last exam is Friday May 1st; so both May 2nd and 3rd is presentation prep, all weekend long =/...
But it can't be like that. I need that weekend procrastination free. One, because I'm going to Wonderland with the girlfriend and J2&Carol on the Saturday. Two because I wanna be relaxed that night to watch our king of the Philippines (lol) fight Mr. Ricky Hatton. I realized Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 is fight night and I have a busy weekend in the making...

So I really don't want this presentation to take away from my weekend; therefore, I have to be on the ball for this one!
Speaking of that British dude, the only full Hatton fight I saw was when he fought Floyd back in 2007. He put up a good fight against the number one p4p boxer at the time but, in the end, he got knocked the fcuk out, lol. That was his first and only loss to this day; I still have that fight on my comp...
Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Knocks Out Ricky Hatton
Above is Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton's first and only loss. He lost to the best...
The hype around the Mayweather/Hatton fight was that they were both undefeated in their respective careers. So yes, Ricky Hatton is a great fighter and Manny needs to go hard...
What I picked up from watching 24/7 back in 2007, is that Hatton is a hard worker and kind of a jerk. '24/7' is a show on HBO that documents all the training done leading up to weigh-in day; the day before the fight...
One thing from 24/7 that I remember is when they called him 'Ricky Fatton' because he eats whatever he wants and gets fat in between fights; but he STILL comes correct on fight night, so you know he works hard...
Ricky Hatton is a brawler and is now trained solely by Floyd Mayweather Sr. It's gonna be an epic and challenging fight for Manny; regardless, you know it's Pac all day...
"Pacquiao Hatton 24/7" Trailor
HBO's 24/7 is one of my fave shows and I'm def stoked for Pacquiao Hatton 24/7 starting April 11th, 2009...

Do You Like Fish Sticks!?...
Honestly I have not watched South Park avidly since grade 4 but this is kinda funny. SP continues with poking fun at media. Here, they poke fun at how Kanye West defends himself against homosexual accusations...
South Park, "Fishsticks" Clips, with Kanye West
I stopped watching South Park a long time ago; apparently this episode aired last night? Above are clips of how the 'fish sticks' joke blew up...
There's also a 'gay fish' music parody at the end of the show, which seems to be popular on YouTube? It's where Kanye admits he's a 'gay fish' afterall?. But I found these collection of scenes funnier, lol.
EDIT: baha!, I just watched more of the episode on Youtube; there's definitely more funny parts. The remainder of the episode has Kanye trying to figure everything out; he's just not understanding why people are calling him a 'gay fish' lol.
I'm out like Kanye from the loop...

Talk Like An Open Book, Sign Me Up...
Right now it's BREAK TIME. While working away I was listening to a random playlist that consists of Kanye, Beyonce, that KiD CuDi track, new Metric, 'Wolverine and the X-Men' and Heroes. Yup there's TV on my playlist, but I skip over it for the most part lol...
On the playlist, I have this Beyonce remix that I don't even know is official. The tag on it is super random and annoying lol, that's why I never posted...
Beyonce - "Ego (Remix)" [Feat. Kanye West]
"Could've let the dream killers kill my self-esteem,
Or use the arrogance as the steam to power my dreams..."(c)kwest
'Ye used this line on College Dropout's Last Call. Also, I used this line in my livejournal layout way back when; made by Carol Ann! (a.k.a crlnn) lol
I don't listen to much Metric, that 'Poster of a Girl' video is the only thing I remember from them, from I don't know when; I don't even remember how the song goes, lol. Never really took them in 'til now, I'm kinda feeling their recent stuff though. I like a lot on their latest album Fantasies but I'll just post their current single to stay relevant, in acoustic mode of course...
Metric - "Gimme Sympathy" [Acoustic]
I also like more on the album like; Front Row and Blindness, to name a couple. I'm really big on Help I'm Alive, that's prob my fave, I think it's clever; I didn't post it cause I don't wanna post too much and you should check it yourself. Canadian indie, let's go.

How Does It Feel, Is It Fantastic, Is It Grand?...
Before I step fully into the world of Calculus II, I was listening/watching Eminem's new single, We Made You. It's 'one of those'. Not too big on his comedic tracks =/...
Listening to these-type songs by Em makes me wanna listen to Renegade right after lol; just to remember that he has the arsenal to be the G.O.A.T...
He just straight up slams celebrities in this one, he's making a craft out of it. Yeah one is good, but it better be the ONLY song like this on Relapse it better!
Eminem - "We Made You"
So the video above is like the only video on YouTube that didn't disable embedding--so expect it to go down in the near future. Em does a lot of name-dropping in this one; here's a link to which celebs get 'slammed' via MTV. The vids kinda funny, Bobby Lee's in it and Em spends time as people like Axel Rose, John Mayer and even Dustin Hoffman's character from Rain Man? for some reason, lol...
I'll leave you with audio of Eminem alone on Renegade; sorry Jay, lol. Seriously one of my fave verses of all time, classic...
Eminem - "Renegade"
I'm out like Relapse this year xD...

Eff A Bus, The Benz Is Parked Like Rosa...
Tonight I had dinner with the girlfriend at Wild Wing. That makes back-to-back Mondays where we ate so much we could puke our brains out? lol that's kinda overly dramatic, but you get the picture.
At the restaurant, I caught the first quarter of UNC (University of North Carolina) vs. MSU (Michigan State University) NCAA Finals. On the wekeend, UNC beat Villanova and Michigan St. beat UCONN (wowsers) in Final Four action...
UNC is a heavily favored #1 seed in their division, while Michigan St. is a #2 seed who got smashed by UNC in their one-and-only meeting earlier this season. However, MSU has a home-court advantage going into tonight's game because the venue is in Detroit; this = 90% MSU crowd...
In my bracket I picked the UNC Tarheels from jump to take it all; so did a million other people in the world, even Pres Obama, lol. Saying they were favoured is an understatement. Anyways, low and behold, UNC took it. Actually they walked away with it. Actually they ran away with it. The game was a blowout for most the game, 89-72 final score...

In other sports, the Toronto Blue Jays had their season-opener today against the Detroit Tigers. I watched it on the other TV's in the restaurant. Roy Halladay [below, left] pitched and got the win, as the Jays killed it; downing the Tigers, 12-5 final score...

DH (designated hitter) Adam Lind [above, right] was 4 of 5 and my fave Jay, right fielder, Alex Rios [below, right] was 2 of 3 to lead the Blue Jays to victory for their first game...

Let's keep it rolling. AL East let's get it this year!!
Here's some muzack...
KiD CuDi - "I Poke Her Face" [Feat. Kanye West & Common]
The scratches are courtesy of Montreal's DJ A-Trak, ILL!. Not too big on Cudi's rapping. But 'Ye, Com and a Gaga-sample used in a clever way, can't really go wrong...
And Kanye's inuendo game is on point!; 'getting brain in the library because I love knowledge, when you use your medulla oblongata, and give me scoliosis [skull-eosis] until I comatosis' baha!...
I'm out like MSU's hopes, dreams and aspirations for 2009...

Only For A Moment And The Moment's Gone...
So I was watching Family Guy just now and heard this song. It's Dust In The Wind by Kansas. It's one of the songs you heard before but it's so before your time that you have no clue of the title. I don't know I just thought it was inspiring in a way...
Kansas - "Dust In The Wind"
It made me feel like I have to live life better y'know. I can't live standing still and so stagnant. I gotta keep trying to move forward and progress. Make the most of the cards I'm dealt with, because it's a waste of time if I don't...
Speaking of Family Guy, it made me think of that episode I watched in The O. It was THE best FG episode I've ever seen. Then BOOM it came on next!! Ain't that a trip. It's called 'Oceans Three and a Half' and first aired February 15, 2009...
On the third day of our trip to Ottawa, me, Shawn, Niko and Kal were driving home from Thousand Island Sushi and we heard it on the radio first! That's right, they have Global on the radio. We tuned in just when Stewie began his song [below]. We thought it was an actual song on the air until the episode kept going until commercial--pretty ill how they have TV on radio. Then when we got home we finished it and watched it again that night on time shifting...good times
Some funny things form the episode were; Stewie covering '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You' by Brian Adams, the most unattractive male name in the english language is Keith (lol) and Megatron cameo...do as i command!!!
Right now I just parked my car. On a random note, one of the creepiest things in the world is when peoples blinds are open at night and you can see into their house =/. Anyways
I'm out like the Raptors from the playoffs mathematically...

You Say You Got 'Alotta Whips', I Say I Got 'A Lot'...
Last night was like throwback times.. lol, it felt like a St. Joachim reunion. Just chilled at Shawn's; it was the usual + alchy. Played Street Fighter IV, got smacked like almost everytime lol, I suck now! Had the game from jump but I do not play because of uni ^@#^)%&$!#*. Played flip-cup randomly, I kinda killed it most the time. I realized I have a decent tolerance...

This pic is kinda big for the fact that the last time we were all in a pic was proabably grade 8 Quebec trip, lol. SJ chillin, SP chillin...
Wale - "Chillin" [Feat. Lady Gaga]
Right now I am watching The Mighty Ducks on Peachtree lol classic stuff. It was this or The Swan Princess on Family, lololol. I actually watched it a lot as a kid some how? But D2 > The Might Ducks, i need to watch it again. Andd @DARTH SOLO, 'The Food' ehhhh!?!?...
