My favourite mag Complex follows up the Kanyeezy and Kim Kardeezy cover with; my wife Katy Perry and Jonah Hill alone in his Thriller-esque threads, for their June/July issue...
Apparently Jonah Hill has the star power for a stand-alone cover this time around? He's hilarious though. He's one of comedies brightest stars. And will be seen in this summer's Funny People along side comedic giants, Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan. He will have a leading role though, in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off, Get Him to The Greek.
I don't sleep on much issues for this magazine, this one's a must 'cause you know me and KP.
Olivia Wilde plays the Huntingtons-carrying 'Dr. Remy Hadley' in House, also known as Omar Epps's woman, 'better' known as Thirteen. In 2009, she is at the top of the Maxim's '100 Sexiest' list de-throwning Megan Fox...
She was my fave character on the O.C. [from the little that I've seen] and one of my faves in House. She has a role as a princess in the upcoming Judd Apatow-produced, Year One. Starring the hilarious Jack Black and Brampton's ownMichael Cera.
"Year One" Movie Trailer
Here are pictures from her very 'acrobatic' photoshoot featured in the June issue of GQ (which I grabbed off yeeeah.com)...
The openly bi-sexual, Megan Fox told GQ last year;
“I could see myself in a relationship with [Olivia Wilde] — she is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerizing.”
That's when you just know, lol.
I'm out like Thirteen's recognition by her real name...
Right now I'm just trying to kill time. I'm downtown and my trains at 11:30. I hadda whack morning. Let's not talk about that. I'm in the GB computer lab where Champion Archers are born, lol.
I never been on Kanye's blog in a while. I thought this photograph was pretty cool. It features two of our biggest fashion icons;super model Kate Moss and fashion designer Marc Jacobs together with Justin Timberlake, a 'fashion icon' in his own right as well. It's from the May issue of Vogue and shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz...
Leibovitz is a photographer of celebrities. She does work for many different renowned magazines including the aforementioned Vogue and Vanity Fair. She's also responsible for the super famous John Lennon and Yoko Onocover for Rolling Stone magazine.
Here's some more of her work for Vogue...
(Lebron James and model Gisele Bunchen depicting Kong Kong)
(Sarah Jessica Parker and 'Mr. Big', lol)
(Fist Lady, Michelle Obama)
Leibovitz is also responsible for a lot of pivtures from The Hollywood Issue for Vanity Fair. Here's a couple photos from her and Vanity Fair...
For 2009, Leibovitz paired actor and director of this year's Oscar nominees, as well as, upcoming movies...
(Danny Boyle and Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire)
Don't mean to sound like I'm bandwaggonning, but WATCH THIS MOVIE!; I did see this before the sweep so I'm not on the waggon anyway lol. But yeah Slumdog Millionaire watch iiit.
(From The Dark Knight, Christopher Nolan and the late Heath Ledger)
(Ron Howard and Tom Hanks from movies like; Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons)
(April 2003 Hollywood issue; Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Hugh Grant, Dennis Quaid, Ewan McGregor, and Matt Damon)
Above is probably one of the most epic photos I've seen. Photographer of the celebrities indeed.
(April 2004 Hollywood Issue; Julianne Moore, Jennifer Connelly, Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek, Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Hilary Swank, Alison Lohman, Scarlett Johansson, and Maggie Gyllenhaal)
(March 2007: Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Chris Rock, and Jack Black)
While looking through her work my favorite pictures are form the 2007 Hollywood Portfolio for Vanity Fair. She uses a bunch celebrities to tell the story of Killers Kill, Dead Men Die. Imagine if everyone in the shoot was really in one movie!?!?! That's an expensive bill...
(Private eye Bruce Willis with partners Ben Affleck and Tobey Macuire)
(A dead body of Bruce Willis lying with Kirsten Dunst as the alleged killer at the scene of the crime, as newspaper photographer James McAvoy snaps a pic)
(Trainer Sylvester Stallone on the ropes where his boxer Djimon Hounsou defeats Robert Downy Jr. as trainer Forest Whitaker comes to his aid. The chinchillaed up Jessica Biel is also in the corner while Tobey Macguire investigates the scene)
(Undercover cops Ed Norton and Kate Winslet. The blind Robert De Niro is along side Jennifer Connelly. Julianne Moore is sitting attentively, while Helen Mirren is by the fireplace)
(Tobey Maguire once again, now he's playing the piano by Jessica Alba. Dianne Lane and James Franco are by the window while Robert Downey Jr. and Kirsten Dunst sneaking around behind the bookselves)
(Jack Nicholson, the killer, gets away)
It ends with one of my fave actors Jacky boy getting away. Not all the pictures but just my faves. ___
LOL yeah clearly I had a lot of time to kill and clearlyHollywood interests me. So here's Jay-Z and Beyonce off Jay's 2006 'out-of-retirement' album, Kingdom Come...
This is my second wife, Katy Perry lol. My first one was Alicia Keys then she decided to get married, womp womp. Still got love for her though lol.
Here's her, kinda-racy, shots from her photoshoot for the March issue of Esquire Magazine, the one covering Ben Affleck randomly...
But all those good looks are good and dandy, but this is why she's my wife. I'm a sucker for acoustic guitar and vocals, lol. Here's a vid of her playing Mannequin on acoustic, at some random radio show. It's about some dude being emotionally unavailable? Deep stuff, kinda soft, but she is ill nonetheless...
Katy Perry - "Mannequin" [Acoustic]
I'm out like the Wolverine movie screener, yikes...
This is the first time I'm writing about Complex Magazine. Complex has been my favorite magazine for a good bit, it's basically a fashion magazine ran by business mogul and founder of Ecko the brand, Marc Ecko. It highlights indie fashion and at the same time highlights relevant celebrities and media. It was originally a bi-monthly mag, but then they started releasing monthly issues this year--thank goodness they stopped though. Each issue has two distinct covers, which divide the magazine in two parts. One side usually features a celebrity-cover and the contents are based on culture and lifestyle. While the other side features a female-cover and the contents are more about fashion.
This year's April/May issue features the always relevant Kanye West covering the culture-oriented side. Miss Kim Kardashian graces the fashion/style-oriented side...
Kanye provides a unique cover, painting himself silver and Ms. Kardashian is just looking smashian lol. One of the features in this issue is an exclusive look at Kanye's Nike releases, the Air Yeezy...
'Ye is the first non-athlete to have a signature shoe with Nike. Much like a lot of Nike shoes, the Air Yeezy will initially be put out in several colourways that will be released weeks apart. These are the three initial colorways [above].
I'm out like Kanye and Kim on shelves in the next couple weeks...
