'The One Day Of The Year, Where We Gather Together And Give Slaps'...

Never posted from my life in a while. My Thanksgiving weekend was good overall despite my pile of homework. The week immediately after the holiday break consists of a quiz, a midterm and an online assignment; bearing in mind that the following week I have 2 assignments and a midterm as well.

Friday: Played ball for the first time in a long time. I just don't have the leisure time anymore. It was good except for my congestion making it difficult to breathe at times and my obligatory knee resting. After I played I went to Ez's birthday party. I just chilled, drank, ate and played around with his drum kit, lol.

Saturday:
I studied all day. Spontaneuously left my books to go watch a movie with Nadine. Saw Couples' Retreat. It was aaalright. The plot was a tad lame, but it was pretty damn funny. After that I went to Shawn's for a little to chill with the fam (shawn, niko, p rosey). I haven't seen them in agessssss cause of school--damn. Just chilled outside and then went in and watched an old epi of Entourage.

Sunday: Studied and then went to church in the afternoon. It was the Barangay Sang Birhen fiest that my tita hosts every year and SJF. It was fun as always. It was also my cousion AJ's bday so we went back to their house after. Just chilled, played Apples to Apples (I won obv cause im loud and abnoxious lol), played Scribblenauts, ate leftovers/cake. Ended up sleeping over and played 2K10 until 4am!!! haha! That was messed.

Monday: Woke up. Did some homework. Waited for the fam to come and had Thanksgiving Lunch lol. After that, studied some more until I finished my homework triumphantly! Then just relaxed and enjoyed the dayyy. Ate so0o much fooood, watched random videos with my cousins, played more Scribblenauts, napped.

Then eventually went home; caught HIMYM and studied until 1am for my quiz I just had. I wish I had the video montage one, but yeah here's Marshall's song after the 'best' double date of his life, lol...

HIMYM: Marshall - "It Was The Best Night Ever"

Overall it was a good Thanksgiving Weekend. I enjoyed it. Now it's go time. Playoff beard is slowly showing face =/ as scruff oct continues.

I'm out like conservative eating during Thanksgiving...

BONUS: Another Marshall Eriksen song for Slapsgiving (not quite the American Thanksgiving yet, same difference)

HIMYM: "The Last Slap"

'It's Going To Be Legen- Wait For It... -Dary!'...

So weird not having homework your mind. I was never much of a homework doer =S hmm. Thinking about it, my least productive day is probably Mondays...

The reason is because I watch too much TV. A lot of my shows are on including How I Met Your Mother and Heroes, as well as, the occasional House and o
cassional One Tree Hill (shh!,lol). Currently it is nearing the end of the season.

It's currently season 4 of How I Met Your Mother. This show is HILARIOUS. It's a really good show with a solid background story and concept. It's basically about the main character Ted Mosbey's life in present-day New York. The narration takes place in the year 2030 and the voice of Bob Sagat tells the story, to his kids, of 'how he met their mother'...

It's a long story that is told over time. It's a story of Ted's life with his friends and girl problems. Each girl he meets could eventually be revealed to be his wife (their mother). For example, this season came close to revealing his wife, when he met Stella and was left at the alter so close. Selectively they reveal clues of what to expe
ct when he actually meets his wife...

One of my favourite parts of the show is how the storylines interconnect. The episodes aren't hallow fillers. They actually have plot development and contribute to future plots. Some notable stars include Neil Patrick Harris (aka Doogie Howser sp!?) and Jason Segal (aka Peter from Forgettign Sarah Marshall).

Another show that I seen every episode thus far is Heroes. If you don't already know it's about a world of people with powers and abilities. It follows each character through the development of their powers and through their lives. There have been 3 seasons and 4 volumes thus far. Season 1 is Volume One: Generations and season 2 is Volume Two: Genesis. This current season 3, consists of two volumes due to the writer's strike cutting the 3rd volume short; Volume Three: Villians and Volume Four: Fugatives respecitively...

This past Monday, season 3 wrapped up with some serious twist. Imagine this. A senetor with flying ablity dies, he's a good guy. Th
en the ultimate bad guy who has the ability to shape-shift and extract memories is unconscious. He is then brainwashed by another hero and convinced he is the senetor that died; he is forced to shape-shift into that person and extract his memories. So now one of the powerful people in America is the ultimate evil, and he doesn't know it yet. Maybe hard to follow but twisted nonetheless...

The 4th season is Volume 5: Redemption. Showcasing Sylar posing as Nathan Petrelli as Senetor of New York. Everything's gonna crash and burn when he finds out the truth. They hint at his curiosity of 'not being himself' and given Sylar's past, he's too smart to not figure it out...

The show notably stars Hayden Panettiere as Clair Benit who has the the ability to regenerate and essentially never die; she is the star of the movie I Love You, Beth Cooper (which looks super dumb, lol). It also stars Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura (who starred in Get Smart) Ali Larter as the triplets (who is the crazy pshycho-stalker chick in Obsessed) and Zachary Quinto as the ultimate super villian Sylar (who is Mr. Spock himself of the upcoming Star Trek movie, epic).

And that's basically my Mondays.

I'm out like season three of Heroes...
