And The Whole World Has To Answer Right Now, Just To Tell You Once Again, Who's Bad...

It's a sad day in the music entire world. Thursday afternoon, pop icon Michael Jackson sadly passed away at the young age of 50 after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center in cardiac arrest...

R.I.P. Michael Jackson
1958-2009

You are a legend. You are thee legend. You were thee name when I was growing up and you defined music for my generation. When I was growing up and knew nothing about music, you were the name I knew.

Without your contributions to music, most of, if not all of my favourite artists would not exist in the music industry. Music videos would be bland with a mediocre bar set; instead of the incredible one set by your creativity. You gave birth to so many artists as singers/dancers and set the bar of excellence. You were innovative such that everything you did in your time was above and beyond peoples minds. You were a musical genius. Deservingly carried the title of the King of Pop walked through the music industry on milestones...

Here's a clip from Thriller. A milestone in music video-making. The epitome of a music video. Just blew-minds. When this came out the world was captivated and the range of excellence of music videos was defined...

Michael Jackson - "Thriller"

Here's my favourite footage of MJ. In 1983 the King of Pop took the stage for Motown 25th Anniversary: Yesterday, Today, Forever. This is the stage where poeple all over the world were glued to just to catch a glimpse of what MJ had in store. This is the first time he showed the world he could walk on the moon...

Here's my fave music video by Mike for Bad. It was released back in 1987 off an album of the same name. Directed by my favourite director Martin Scorsese--MJ has too much swag in this one...

At least MJ got to share the stage with his idol in 2003 at the BET Awards. Hope your boogie-ing in heaven with the Godfather of Soul. RIP James Brown as well...

We lost Mike just short of his 'comeback/retirement' from music. He was getting ready to perform the first of his 50 sold out shows London next month.

Yeah he's been in the spotlight for controvery in the past. But we should remember him for his MUSIC and his ART. He is a staple in the music industry and he will always be the King of Pop, now eternally. RIP Michael Jackson.

I'm out like the King of Pop from the planet he rocked...
