My favourite mag Complex follows up the Kanyeezy and Kim Kardeezy cover with; my wife Katy Perry and Jonah Hill alone in his Thriller-esque threads, for their June/July issue...
Apparently Jonah Hill has the star power for a stand-alone cover this time around? He's hilarious though. He's one of comedies brightest stars. And will be seen in this summer's Funny People along side comedic giants, Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan. He will have a leading role though, in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off, Get Him to The Greek.
I don't sleep on much issues for this magazine, this one's a must 'cause you know me and KP.

I Can Make It Fly, Make You Touch The Sky, Hey Maybe So...
I am stuck at school sick as a dog. I'm about to mission it to the Philippine Consulate on Yonge & Eglington. Man.
Anyways. YouTube is snapping on the copyrights to the Paranoid video. Here's one that hasn't been killed yet. You know Kanye, this is a serious video starring Rihanna. The non-spycam version...
Kanye West - "Paranoid" [Feat. Mr. Hudson]
Speaking of--here's a interview of Drizzy Drake with a Yeezy cameo, and not the shoe...
Peter Rosenberg Interviews Drake
"No pressure, but hip-hop's on you"(c)p.ros. Everyone now knows he's carrying the torch. This guy is blowing up like dynamite.
I'm out anyone's hopes of winning a set off Rafa...

'I'm Here To Talk To You About Remy.' 'Who!?' 'Thirteen.' 'What Did You Call Her?'...
Olivia Wilde plays the Huntingtons-carrying 'Dr. Remy Hadley' in House, also known as Omar Epps's woman, 'better' known as Thirteen. In 2009, she is at the top of the Maxim's '100 Sexiest' list de-throwning Megan Fox...
She was my fave character on the O.C. [from the little that I've seen] and one of my faves in House. She has a role as a princess in the upcoming Judd Apatow-produced, Year One. Starring the hilarious Jack Black and Brampton's own Michael Cera.
"Year One" Movie Trailer
Here are pictures from her very 'acrobatic' photoshoot featured in the June issue of GQ (which I grabbed off yeeeah.com)...
The openly bi-sexual, Megan Fox told GQ last year;

The truth is out. Here is what Eminem was doing during his 4-year hiatus from music; via MTV...
Eminem: Where Have You Been?
French Open started yesterday. You know my life savings are on the King of Clay, Rafael Nadal to 5-peat! He's hungry for for the 5th!...
21st Century Breakdown is a pretty good album. Here's one of my faves; probably GD's next single?
Green Day - 21 Guns
It's basically a musical 21-gun salute. So What better day then today, [the American holiday] Memorial Day.
I'm out like the Blue Jays from winning lately...

And I Feel Like Taking Off, Let Me Be Your Supernova...
So last night, I was confined to my room and laptop to hand in an online assignment. The upside is that I got to watch NBA basketball. So what's up with these playoffs!??! Every game is a good game, I love it!
Here's some foreshadowing that happened during practice almost a week ago. Buckets!?...
Lebron James Hits Shot From Behind The Backboard
The Cleveland Cavaliers were hanging by a thread in the 4th quarter and the King answered with a miracle. Lebron James hit a game-wining, three-point shot at the buzzer, with 1.0 seconds left, down by 2. This is the type of shots kids count down on their driveways. This is the shot I shot in front of my house as a kid when my imagination took over.
King James, just a magical shot. Amazing game. Ridiculous finish. If you missed it here's the ending, (orr if you're impatient, here's the lone shot)...
Eastern Conference Final, Game 2 Ending: Magic @ Cavs
Better believe if Bron Bron didnt sink this shot, the Cavs would be gone!!! They'd be down 0-2 with no homecourt advantage--damn. Most valuable indeed.

Peedi Said Kill It, Euthanasia's In The Building...
So about an hour ago, Wale leaked a couple tracks off his upcoming mixtape Back to the Feature--on Twitter. This is just a reminder to why I got Twitter, so see what artists are excited about.
Wale leaked Gotta Be Magic and Hot Shyt which features a crew of Philly rappers. Philly goes hard [pause]...
Wale - "Hot Shyt" [Feat. Peedi Crakk, Young Chris & Tuphace]
It's a cypher-type song. The order the artists come in is; Peedi Crakk, the legendary Black Thought, Tuphace, Young Gunz' Young Chris and Wale ends it off. Whoever Tuphace is, he holds his own with this monster line up of brotherly love [pause].

Your Attention Put Back On The Flow Like The Department Of Water...
So I haven't been wandering the web for a while due to this internet suspension business. One of my favourite, if not my favourite artist, Lupe Fiasco is on route to release his 3rd album this year. It was originally supposed to be [a 3-disc finale] called LupE.N.D. but it is now renamed to We Are Lasers as I re-tweet:
Lupe Fiasco - "Shining Down" [Low Quality]
Speaking of Santos. I've been waiting for the Born To Do audio for a good while. But ah wells, here's Matthew Santos performing his apparent single 'Born To Do' on a Chicago morning show, as well as, an interview prior to hitting the stage...
Matthew Santos - "Born to Do", on Chicago's WGN Morning News Show
Pretty ill; his voice is pretty unique. This happened on April 24th and still no audio on the net =S. Maybe he didn't hop into the studio yet, but I do wanna hear it 'on wax'.
I'm out like the LupEND title and concept...
RT @wearelasers We Are Lasers…comes from some repressed highschool outcast shit…blended amidst And He Gets The Girl ambitionsThe first single from Lasers is called Shining Down featuring FNF artist Matthew Santos. Can't frggn waait! Here's some audio. Warning: the audio is capitol H, horrible quality, you've been warned...

So yeah thank goodness for people who sneak cameras into events when they're not suppose to. My favourite song off 808's...
Kanye West - "Paranoid" [Feat. Mr. Hudson] 'Sneak Peak'
The video stars the very sexy and clothed Rihanna, lol. It's the 5th single from 808's & Heartbreaks, woah. Off to class I go; gotta be clutch right now, gotta Rashard Lewis this quiz.

'I Mean, What's The Difference Between Disco And Zeppelin'...
So I just finished watching Undeclared (2001) and Freaks and Geeks (1999). Both shows were created and directed by Judd Apatow. Apatow is a writer/producer/director. He produced some of my favourite comedies in the past decade, such as; Anchorman, Kicking and Screaming, Knocked Up, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pineapple Express and many more...
Apatow is also billed as a producer for the FSM spin-off Get Him to the Greek which stars the returning Russell Brand and Jonah Hill. It also features Sean 'Diddy' Combs as a record label executive and also; Christina Aguilara, Pink and my wife, Katy Perry, most-likely as themselves.
However, the movies that he has directed are The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and the upcoming Funny People (which I'm excited to watch). The two aforementioned movies have strong storylines, as well as, strong comedy.
Anyways Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks were directed by Apatow and canceled after one season by FOX and NBC respectively. Both shows were ended before their time and had a lot of potential...
Undeclared was aired in 2001. It revolves around the life of Steven Karp, a first-year student with an 'undeclared' major who is played by Jay Braruchel; if you're Canadian you know him from Popular Mechanics For Kids. The show also notably stars Seth Rogan as one of Steven's best friends in the show. Also, Jason Segel and Amy Pohler are recurring characters; Segel one of the main character's boyfriends and Pohler plays the RA of the main characters' floor.
Karp is an awkward and nerdy kid who makes new friends in college and somewhat drops his 'nerdy' title. Despite being nerdy, he struggles in school and is unable to declare a major in his first year, hence the title.
The show had some serious comedic cameos in it's first season. These cameos include Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler, wow.
The show is awkward at times, so I can see the lack of appeal in some episodes, but it had a lot of potential to becaome a good show because of the concept and strong character development. This was Judd Apatow's second attempt at a comedy series. The first was Freaks and Geeks, which aired in 1999.
Freaks and Geeks takes place in the 80's and is about the lives of high school senior Linsey Weir played by Linda Cardellini (who was a nurse on ER 'til the end) and her brother Sam Weir played by John Francis Daley (who is currently a doctor on Bones).
It all begins when Lindsey decides to drop her academically superior 'mathlete' friends, to join a group of burn-outs a.k.a. 'freaks'. Freaks are the people in high school who slack off, get into trouble, smoke up, etc. Her younger brother Sam is a skinny underdeveloped member of a 'geeky' trio. Hence the title, Freaks and Geeks.
The 'star-studded' Freaks include Seth Rogan, Jason Segel and James Franco. The show takes a bit more to get into. It starts off slow and typical with Lindsey trying too hard to fit-in with her newly discovered friends...
To me the show really picks up when she stands up to the 'freaks' and they show her that they really are her true friends and have her back. From then on the show feels different; less-awkward and you get a sense that everyone is where they should be identity-wise.
I like the show because it doesn't show the glorified side of high school that is typically depicted on TV; where the jocks, cheerleaders and 'normal' people are the stars. This show tells the story from the eyes of the unpopular geek and incurable misfit.
Reasons the show may have gotten cancelled is because in the beginning, the protagonist Lindsey Weir is really not one to look up to. She comes across fake and tries too hard to fit-in, which is a complete contrast to the confident and strong character she later becomes. Viewers may have not picked-up on her development because it happens near the middle of the series.
I enjoyed watching it and seeing the younger versions of Hollywoods brightest and funniest stars. Overall Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks are both quality and relatable series. They depict the 'true' side of life as opposed to the shows currently airing now that depict the 'lavish' life that everybody dreams of.

Such Nostalgia And Power, Such Prowess, Look How You Cower...
Right now I'm at school, finished my online assignments here because my internet is suspended =/ efffff Rogers!!!
So my favourite album of the year right now is Eminem's Relapse. After a 4 year hiatus from making music, translating to a 5 year hiatus from relasing an album, Eminem is back with Relapse. His last album Encore was released in 2004. It was a ok Eminem album and a decent hip-hop album.
Basically during his hiatus Eminem was battling drug addiction to various persciption pills. The 20-track-jammed new album is dark, disturbing and super lyrical; vintage Eminem.
The album begins with the serial-killer-themed track, 3 a.m. where Em talks about being a serial killer in the first-person. He showcases his incomparable flow and makes his return known in this disturbing number. He takes a similar role in Same Song and Dance. It's a serial-killer's journal of his victims; the first being 'Tanya' who is introduced in the preceding skit. Em mixes disturbing material with celebrity shoutouts in the next two verses where his next two victims are revealed to be Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears respectively.
The disturbia continues on My Mom where Eminem talks about his mother's addiction to pills in a hyperbolic story of his youth. Em talks about his mom being the reason for his slip into pill-addiction. Listening to Em talk about his mom in such a negative mannor is nostgic in a way, lol.
The next track Insane is possibly thee most DISTURBING Eminem track I've ever heard. The first verse is basically about homosexual incestual rape!? Geez. The rest is toned down but still super disturbing; even Em knows he crossed the line when he says: "Shady what the f*#@ you saying? I don't know help me!".
Bagpipes from Baghdad is a quieter track; despite the lack on content, it's laced with dirty flow that is lacking from hip-hop these days. It's a random song addressesing celebrities' lives and the usual slurs. After that, Hello is Em's reintroduction where he showcases his flow and word play to give you the feeling that he never left. "Resecitated and rejiuced, f*#@ it, I'm back"
After this is the celeb-slamming first single, We Made You. Followed by the very disturbing Medicine Ball where Em says things that he can only say. Moral boundaries are danced on when he rhymes about Christopher Reeve yet again; it's at a whole new level now because he is now the late Mr. Reeve. I'm going to hell for holding back laughs at Chris Reeve saying, "throw down the cardboard, let's break dance if you think you're hardcore" =/. He knows he's crossing lines as the chorus starts, "I guess it's time for you to hate me again, let's begin".
The very dark Stay Wide Away is a big track. It's starts with Em showcasing his smooth flow, "soon as my flow starts, I compose art like the ghost of Mozart". He dares poeple to step into his mind and connect with the demented things he raps about. No one can put words together and tell stories like Em.
This point is where the album reaches new heights for me. The next track is huge one. Em brings in the good doctor. He is the only artist that can make Dr. Dre pick up a mic again. Dre's verses are alright; probably ghost-written by Em, but epic nonetheless. But that damn weird-accent voice that Em seems to enjoy. Of course produced by the doctor, "Dre drop that beat and scratch that break". One of the best producers in the history of the game! (Relapse is done, Detox let's go!)
After this is the forgettable Must Be The Ganja. I say 'forgettable' because it's placed in between and before my favourite songs of the album. Again stellar flow. My two favourite songs follow.
This is where Em gets deep; I'm a fan of introspective Eminem. Deja Vu is Em telling his story of his life during his pill addiction. Basically it's about his climb into addiction and how every time he got high off pills it would be like deja vu.
One of my favourite songs is Beautiful. It's the only track that Em produced. He says this is because it was on the only good track created when he wasn't sober. He said that all the other tracks he created while not sober bring him back to bad memories.
The disc closes off with the pre-maturely leaked Crack a Bottle and Underground. In Underground Em talks about where he's been and addresses his hiatus from music.
No track is on my negative list. If the concepts are over your head, then the flow and superior lyricism overpowers it all. This is the biggest record of the year, from [arguably] the greatest rapper alive right now.
This is what I've been waiting for for a while. This level of hip-hop and deadly lyricism. The whole game has been waiting for some classic hip-hop albums; some quality and consistent hip-hop. About time!

How Could You Be So Heartless!?...
So last night, I was watching American Idol randomly. My two wives were on? Alicia Keys gave like a P.S.A. and Katy Perry performed that Vegas track. Don't watch Idol much--didn't know how huge it is in the States! It was top 3 'idols' left and all 3 of them now have days named after them in their hometowns, wow...
Anyways, one of the top 3 (now in the top 2) Kris Allen did a cover of Heartless on the show prior?
Kris Allen - "Heartless" Cover, American Idol Top 3 Show
So when I checked it out, I thought wow; he has some serious musical talent if he can create an arrangement like this. Then I found Mr. Isaac Slade and The Fray. So I'm guessing his arrangement was based on this version...
The Fray - "Heartless" Kanye West Cover
Some of the lyrics are kinda too urban for Isaac, but you know me and acoustics, so I co-sign it. And always been a fan of The Fray so yeah. (Note: Relapse soon! Just a couple more spins and I'll hit the keyboard)
I'm out like 1 from 3 to make 2...

Space May Be The Final Frontier, But It's Made In A Hollywood Basement...
Just checked my winter session grades. Your boy passed by one percent! That's how first year's suppose to be isn't it...
Today I went to class. Played pick-up at Hart House. Checked if my final mark was up 50-million times. Trecked to see Nadine. Met her at Forever XXI. Went to Rainbow Cinemas. Ate street meat along the way. Got ketchup on my NS Trinity's =*/. Watched Star Trek the second time for 4 bucks. Drank a passion tea lemonde. Got word via txt that calc marks were up. Went to the library. Checked. Passed. Did a dance in my head. Pinched myself a bit. Prayed and thanked God a bit. Sent a mass txt. That brings me here.
So yeah I am relieved. But it's not over. Got one more course to do in the super fast-passed summer session, womp womp. Honestly, I made it this far I can't afford to slack!
Anyways, Star Trek was still good the second time around. Still laughed at parts. Realized the movie is all killer and no filler. What I mean by that is there are no useless scenes. Every scene has a purpose. Every scene contributes to the plot. Still ill.
But yeah, I am RElaxed and RElieved, man oh man. Speaking of relaxed; only a few other things in life get me as laid back as feeding my ears with some Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Here's The Zephyr Song live. This one got me through some Cranium game boards. This song is super chillin, and what I'll probably listen to when doing my homework right now. It's off the album By The Way released in 2002...
Red Hot CHili Peppers - "The Zephyr Song"
And whenever I think of Star Trek I think of this next track. It's off RHCP's 1999 album of the same name, Californication...
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Californication"
Not the best video inthe world lol. Whatever it's when 3D was new and cool. An I'll leave you with my fave. This one's not on any album. It was recorded in 1991 during the recording of Blood Sugar Sex Magik and released in 1993 on the Coneheads OST lol...
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Soul to Squeeze"
This song resembles what I felt like for the majority of the school year. I was like a tad depressed and discouraged and I looked toward loved ones to hold me down. And look where I am now! I actually did it. I didn't ride that emotional roller coaster for nothing. Thank God.
I'm out like myself from academic slaughtering [for now]...

'To Boldy Go Where No Man Has Gone Before'...
On Friday, I watched Star Trek. Based on previews I was kinda excited to watch it. I expected it to be good, but not this good.
As a non-Trekie, the only things about Star Trek I knew prior to the movie were; Captain Kirk, Spock, separated-finger hand-sign, enterprise ship, 'beam me up', takes place in space? lol. But this movie will be enjoyable to anyone who enjoys good movies period; and it is not restricted to those who dawn the pointy ears and attend conventions lol...
This is not your father's TNG or your grandfathers Shatner-series. I thought it was an origin story, but it's a whole new Star Trek storyline in it's own right. Consisting of time-space continuum manipulation, black holes and brawling...
They bring back Leonard Nimoy, the orininal Spock in the 1966 Star Trek series, to play 'older' Spock; that's the closest they get to the original series. But yeah, I don't wanna give away plot keys.
Basically it's about James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock's first voyage in the U.S.S. Enterprise. It starts off when Vulcan, Spock's home planet, is attacked and James Kirk sneaks on board the Enterprise to come along for the intended rescue mission...
The two leading men are Chris Pine playing James T. Kirk and Zachary Quinto aka Sylar playing Mr. Spock. Pine gives a good performance as 'Captain' Kirk--he gets praise for his performance because he doesn't try to immitate William Shatner's pause-speaking Captain Kirk. And I always thought Quinto was a good actor, from Heroes; he makes Heroes what it is because he's such a strong villian. Can I say best villian on TV!?
Spock is my favourite character. I think he's hilarious. He has a super-proper demeanor and he talks with such textbook-etiquette. And he'll beat anyone's ass downnn [no homo?]. Zachary Quinto has mad swag in real life too. He was on Falon when i got home, and he knows how to dress I must say--Sylar is the man.
Other cast include Simon Pegg (aka 'Hot Fuzz'-cop) as Scotty, John Cho (aka Harold) as Hikaru Sulu and Eric Bana (aka old Hulk) as the villian Nero.
I wanna talk plot, but I don't wanna give away twists, so I'll leave it. Honestly my favourite movie of 2009 surpassing the long title-holder: I Love You, Man. This summer is gonna be epic; Revenge of the Fallen, Rise of Cobra, Halfblood Prince, Up, Funny People, Inglorious Basterds etc etc.
But this movie, wow. I wanna watch it againnn! damn. But anyways go frggn watch it. LIVE LONG AND PROSPER.
I'm out like the U.S.S. Enterprise into space...

But If Your Shields Are Weak, You Better Step Behind Us...
This is me, I'm back; Anthony Edward 'Tony' Stark. And so it continues. I'm amped for this movie. Currently in filming, Iron Man 2 is dropping in May 2010...
The Wrestler aka--Golden Globe best actor--Mickie Rourke plays 'Whiplash', Scarlett Johansson plays 'Black Widow' and Sam Rockwell plays 'Justin Hammer'? Sooo--three villians? A la Spider Man 3? It didn't really work in SM3. Just not enough Venom face time, Stan Lee had more face time...
Anyways more about casting? Uhm, Terrance Howard dropped out as War Machine and Don Cheadle will take the reins as Colonal Rhodey. 'Next time baby, next time' my ass, lol. Kinda whack. I'm not a fan of inconsistency. But whatever, as long as it gets made...
(Not official 'Iron Man 2' War Machine image)
Other notables are Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Gwenith Powltrow as Iron Man's assistant/loveinterest Pepper Potts.
I'm out like T-How from the War Machine suit...

That Ether, That Sh!t That Makes Your Soul Burn Slow...
Manny 'Pac-Man' Pacquiao's punches are Nas' Ether and every boxer in the world is a potential Jay-Z.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. where you at!?!! After this fight how can you not say Manny Pacquiao > Floyd Mayweather Jr. Wait. Don't hate my words. Pac did it in 2 without blinking, Floyd did in 10 brawling...
Maybe Ricky Hatton is on his decline and peaked already!? Since losing to Mayweather in 2006, he had a couple mediocre fights. He's possibly a better fighter now then in '06; he has a good trainer in Floyd Senior and he looks like a better fighter on paper and on tape with Floyd Sr in his corner. But Pac and my boy Freddy Roach took care of business!!...
Roach is the smartest, most educated and hard-working trainer in my opinion. He is the pound for pound best corner man in boxing! On 24/7 he visibly worked on Manny's left and right hooks, over and over and over. And guess what was Hatton's demise!? yes, a left hook.
This is only Hatton's second loss and second time losing to the 'best boxer in the world'. His first loss came byhand glove of Floyd Mayweather Junior...
The current break down is that Mayweather Jr hoped out of retirement and is fighting Juan Manuel Marquez in July! Epic. Mayweather is undefeated but criticized for not fighting any big names in his career. The only big names are probably; Zab Judah, Jose Juis Castillo, Oscar De La Hoya and an undefeated Ricky Hatton...
Juan Manuel Marquez is definitely a big-time name. Marquez is the only fighter, in my opinion, to stand up to Manny Pacquiao. Their first fight was a brawl to say the least where the two tied; and their second fight last year was most trouble Pac had in a good while. Pac won in split-decsion--one of my fave Pac fights...
Marquez is currently runner-up as the P4P best boxer in the game. Mayweather Jr def has something to prove challenging Marquez. It's foreshadowing to the BIGGEST FIGHT IN THE HISTORY OF PRESENT DAY BOXING: Pacquio vs. Mayweather Jr...
That's Christmas to me man. Basically it's either the much demanded Pacquiao Marquez III or the beyond epic Pacquio Mayweather Jr. I want Mayweather NOWWW.
How epic would it be if Pac's 50th win was over predecessor of P4P best, 'Pretty Boy' Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Junior!?
Pac would eat Marquez's food right now. Floyd Jr better be able to do the same. After Floyd makes due of Marquez then HISTORY WILL BEGIN. Floyd knows it and the world knows it. Pacquiao Mayweather Jr coming soonnnnnnnn *crosses fingers*. Mexican or British, you can't run. It's time for some American blood now in FMJ.
I'm out like Hitman in two...

Tell A Friend, It's That Symbol Again, That Double-You, Coming Through...
This week I updated my iPod =). Made a new 'New Music IV' playlist. Some ook songs, and some bangers. Here are a couple on it.
It is not a myth. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II will be dropping this year, August 11, 2009 to be exact. In 1995, Wu-Tang Clan-er Raekwon released a piece of hiphop greatness when he dropped his debut Only Built 4 Cuban Linx; a hiphop classic. Since then he dropped a couple albums, Immortality (1999) and The Lex Diamond Story (2003) which I never took in...
Recently, slowly but surely The Chef has been releasing that rawness. Here's the first single New Wu featuring Ghostface Killah and Mr. Em-Eee-Tee-Aych-Oh-Dee-Maaan. The rawest most influential hip-hop group to me hands down. RZA's in the video, good to see theat they're all still friends and supporting each other!...
Raekwon - "New Wu" [Feat. Ghostface Killah & Method Man]
To slow it down, another song I've taken in is Maxwell's new single called Pretty Wings. I love smooth R&B like this. Don't know much from him, but my fave song from him is Lifetime way back when...
Maxwell - "Pretty Wings"
To switch it up a bit, here's some electo-hip-hop? I already have this song twice on this blog so I might as well provide the tri-fecter. It's CuDi's remix of the Black Eyed Peas latest single...
Black Eyed Peas - "Boom Boom Pow (Remix)" [Feat. KiD CuDi]
I'll leave you with the shady one. I'm pretty sure this is off Relapse. I hate downloading tracks before albums I know I'll buy; but I'm impatient with this one, what can I say...
Eminem - "3 AM"
"I'm just a hooligan who's used to using hallucinogens,
causing illusions again, brain contusions again..."(c)em
The flow, controversy and darkness is vintage Eminem. So the above, and a bunch of other stuff, stuff, stuff that I already posted before, complete the playlist.
I'm out like Nas and Kelis from marital bonds...
